Analytics puts human traffic and AI crawler activity side by side, so you can see which pages AI crawlers read and which pages people visit, from AI assistants and everywhere else.

## What you need

Analytics needs a website and at least one collection path:

| Path | Install | What it adds |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [Human Analytics](/docs/analytics/human-analytics) | Browser script or SDK, publishable key | Pageviews, visitors, sessions, sources, AI referrals, events, goals, funnels |
| [AI Crawler Analytics](/docs/analytics/ai-crawlers) | Server, edge or log integration, server secret | AI crawler requests, crawled pages, response status, crawl rules |

The connection control in the header shows one combined state for both paths; it reads as connected only when both receive events. **Connect analytics** opens the install dialog; **Health unknown** means the status check failed, not that the install is missing.

## The Analytics page

### Key numbers

Pageviews, visitors, AI crawler requests and conversions for the selected range.
### People and AI crawlers

One chart with human traffic and crawler requests over time, so a change in one can be read against the other.
### Pages

Two tables side by side: **Visitors** (views and visitors per page) and **AI crawlers** (providers and requests per page). Select a page for its browser activity or its AI crawler requests.
### Sources

Referrers, UTM campaigns and AI referrals: visits that arrive from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and other assistants.
### Audience

Countries, devices, browsers and operating systems.
### Conversions

Goals and funnels you define. See [Human Analytics](/docs/analytics/human-analytics#goals-and-funnels).
### Data health and crawler diagnostics

Crawler health, response status, robots and crawl rules, pages with errors or blocks, and recent crawler requests.

## Website and dates

- Website: switch between the websites in the workspace.
- Date range: last 7, 30 (default), 60 or 90 days, or a custom range. The range lives in the URL, so a link shows the same view.
- Timezone: each website has its own; days and charts follow it. Change it under data health.

A range that ends in the future is marked incomplete.

## Usage and limits

Your plan includes a monthly number of human events and AI crawler visits. Only AI crawler visits are stored and metered; other bots are dropped when they arrive.

Going over never drops data:

1. Near the limit: A notice warns you before you reach it.
2. Over for one month: Data is still collected and dashboards stay open.
3. Over two months in a row: Data is still collected, and dashboards are limited until you upgrade.

See [Plans and billing](/docs/workspace/plans-and-billing) for each plan's limits.
